Group Medical Takaful for Construction Workers is developed as special takaful program dedicated to cover all sectors of the labor workforce with a primary objective of addressing the need of the UAE labor sector from a social and humanitarian aspect; as well as improving the social welfare of labor workforce. The product is designed with the purpose of providing the best cover at the most affordable costs to all labour workers in the construction sector.
The plan covers primarily within the UAE region with an option for extension remote areas beyond the UAE with wide selection of networks. The plan covers illnesses and injuries incurred by labor workers either due to work-related or otherwise. The scope of coverage includes in-patient hospitalization, out-patient treatment, diagnostic tests, day care surgery and prescription drugs.
The plan offers facility for direct settlement incurred by the workers in cases of hospitalization or visits to the general practitioner within the network providers. It also offers full coverage within the network with a minimum deductible applies to all out-patient treatment.
The plan is designed to offer peace of mind to the employer and the workers knowing that their health is in good hands.
