Boiler & pressure vessel
As boilers & pressure vessels may be covered together with other machines under our MACHINERY BREAKDOWN TAKAFUL PLAN, you may also wish to have them covered with our more specific product, the BOILERS & PRESSURE VESSELS TAKAFUL PLAN.
The plan is to provide financial protection to cover loss or damage to industrial boilers, fired and unfired pressure vessels against the risk of explosion and collapse due to internal pressure which are inherent in all such steam generating equipment. The plan covers:-
a) Damage to boilers and pressure vessels caused solely due to explosion or collapse.
b) Damage to surrounding property belonging to you such as building, machinery, stocks etc.
c) Your legal liabilities on account of fatal or non fatal injuries to persons and properties of third party.
The period of cover is usually 12 months.
